1977 REPORT OF THE DOMESTIC EXTENSION COMMITTEE OF
URANTIA BROTHERHOOD TO
THE GENERAL COUNCIL
Thomas A. Kendall

June 25, 1977

The committee continued its program of donating gift books to public and institutional libraries. A total of 13 books have been given to libraries this year.

It is felt that gift books are an excellent means of reaching truth seekers, a quiet outreach in keeping with the URANTIA teachings counseling patience, and allowing these truths to progress along with the natural evolutionary progress of our planet. Many new readers report that they first encountered The URANTIA Book in a library

It is gratifying also to see Societies participating in such a worthy endeavor.

The committee has continued to discuss and evaluate the need for, and potential use of, an Information Kit.

The resignations of Mrs. Donna Rowley and Herman Schell were received with regret as both had served our committee faithfully for several years.

We are pleased to welcome new members, David Kulieke and CeCe Forester. In behalf of the other members of the committee, Geraldine Hahn and Hoite Caston, let me say that it is a privilege to serve, and we welcome your suggestions.
