2007 Finance Committee Report

 

Dear Friends;

 

So far this year we’ve raised about $153,000 in donations through June 30, 2007. We presently have 130 active people on the Auto-Debit program, which is bringing in around $7500 per month. Don Green, one of the committee members, calls auto donors each month, as their credit cards expire, to encourage them to renew their giving.

 

The Finance Committee coordinates the Fellowships annual budgeting process which takes place in the 4th Qtr. of each year in a coordinated effort to balance and manage the Fellowship’s finances. As a 501C3 non profit organization, our longer term goal is to increase our donations each year as well as our donor base. Whereas, in years past approximately 90% of our donations came from 5% of our donors, this year, thanks to the auto-debit program, about 70% of our donations have come from 5% of our donors.

 

Our next big push for donations, will be coming up soon as we seek to raise an additional $150,000 to pay for the next printing of the Urantia Book coming up by the end of this year.
