June 2000The main activity this year for the Charter Committee was establishing that the requirements for society formation by The Urantia Book Aloha Society (TUBAS) has been satisfactorily met by fourteen founding members and TUBAS was granted society status as the 26th society of The Urantia Book Fellowship.
Charter Committee reviewed and recommended Lee Farmer, Michael Shengout and Shelly Upholster as Members at Large and the Executive Committee subsequently approved all.
The Charter Committee will have one opening on the committee. Larry Bowman, Secretary will not be returning after many years of faithful service. The Charter Committee is grateful to Larry for his longstanding service and we all look forward to serving with him in the future.
