Dear Trustees of Urantia Foundation:
During the Executive committee meeting last weekend we reviewed your letter of October 12. We believe the issues raised can be best discussed face to face and would like to meet with you at your earliest convenience. The EC has appointed Janet, Steve, Marilynn, David and Dan as representatives of the Fellowship to discuss web site and international issues with the five Foundation Trustees.
We believe that in order for this meeting to be successful, we must meet for at least two days (Friday evening through Sunday afternoon) and limit attendance to the five Fellowship representatives and the five Trustees. If this is acceptable to you, please let me know ASAP, and our Executive Director, John Hales, will arrange the details. Please forward the date of the weekend that will work best for you.
The Trustees and the Fellowship agreed to meet face to face to discuss inter-organizational issues that were raised by either side before they escalated. We would like to honor this agreement and will look forward to meeting with you. Please feel free to call me with any questions (541-426-4781).
