Letter from Urantia Foundation Dismissing Tom Kendall

We the undersigned, your fellow trustees of Urantia Foundation, hereby request without reservation that you resign immediately as President and Trustee of Urantia Foundation.
Our reasons for requesting your resignation as President and as Trustee of Urantia Foundation are set out int he respectie accompanying documents entiteld "Reasons for Dismissal of Thomas A. Kendall as President of Urantia Foundation" and "Reasons for Removal of Thomas A. Kendall as Trustee of Urantia Foundation.
If you choose not to resign, despite our request herein, it is our intent for the reasons referred to above, to proceed with your dismissal as President and your removal as Trustee in accordance with the requirements of the Declaration of Trust and the By-Laws of Urantia Foundation. Dismissal and removal proceedings are scheduled to commence January 7, 1984, at a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees whereat you may contest your dismissal and/or removal if you wish. The required notice of the January 7, 1984 Special Meeting is herewith enclosed.
Please note that during the pendency of the removal proceedings through three successive quarterly meetings of the Board of Trustees of Urantia Foundation, you will be formally suspended from any rights, duties and prerogatives you may enjoy as a Trustee. Too, we intend to give notice of your dismissal as President and the commencement of the removal proceedings and your formal suspension as Trustee to our general readerhsip and other interested parties when and as these actions are taken.
Please know that this entire matter has been both thoughtfully reviewed with counsel and carefully considered by each of us as your fellow trustees. Each of us, independently and of our own free will, joins with our feloow trustees seeking, for the reasons given, either your immediate resignation, or your dismissal as President and removal as Trustee of Urantia Foundaiont at the earliest possible moment.
