A MESSAGE FROM MICHAEL
By-Andre Leonard Glen

(The following is an original composition presented at the IC93 Remembrance Supper.)

To all who aspire to touch the world, rejoice; for it is my deepest desire, and it is also the will of my Father. Indeed His will is to touch all the worlds of all His universes in order to gather them into one sole family; and you fulfill His wishes when you take it upon yourselves to get in touch with your brothers and sisters.

I know my Father well, as He knows me; thus, He also wishes to make Himself known to you so that you may have the infinite joy of experiencing the eternal life of His spirit. This is why He sent me forth unto you, and I made myself similar to you in the flesh so that you may become similar to Him in spirit.

I became your brother so that you may recognize that my Father is equally yours. I descended upon you so that you may have the opportunity to identify our Father's spirit in you. I came to reveal the divine origin of your spiritual identity.

I came to teach you that the better you know our Father, the more you will be willing to be like Him; and the more you resemble Him, the more you will feel the need to truly know your brothers and sisters. I have come to inform you that this knowing light, which now enlightens each of you, has the divine potential to attune your thoughts to the harmony of truth when you make a sincere effort to understand one another.

At the time of my incarnation, I bravely revealed my divine identity and openly displayed my spiritual kinship with our Father. And I merely urged you to love one another by understanding each other as I did--with the same open-mindedness and the same wholeheartedness.

The living seed of my message cannot grow when it is suffocated by the thorns of fear and ignorance, and could even perish should it fall unto hearts turned to stone by suspicion and closed-mindedness. So I urge you to show more courage by daring to unveil yourselves to one another. And today I further remind all who know our Father's will that they not only have the responsibility to proclaim what it is, but also have the duty to expose what it is not.

All the suffering and torment which result from fear, ignorance, suspicion and closed-mindedness are not our Father's will. Human misery is the offspring of foolish pride and selfish power borne in those minds which seek to reduce others to silence. Instead, our Father's will is that you express His Word--the life of your spirit--in a personal and original way to generate a better and truer life.

Make the persistent effort to understaud each other even more, and not only in spite of your differences but in celebration of them. These differences are the very beacons that will lead your ship to the harbour of truly spiritual unity without wrecking it on the reef of intellectual uniformity.

Sincerely try to understand and to know each other, and together you will discover the source of your reality. This living water is the only knowledge capable of quenching your thirst for truth.

Be generous in giving, be humble in receiving, and you will become living expressions of truth, since truth comes to life in sharing. As I did with my disciples, share with one another the fruits of truth which ripen in your souls under the sun of your spirit. You will only touch the world by creating between you living links of true intimacy.

Invite your fellow truth-seekers to reap with you the harvest of your ideals. Share the experiential grapes of your inner vine. Eat from the same loaf and drink from the same cup the unique product of your persistent efforts of openmindedness and mutual understanding.

This bread and this wine are the body and the blood of the universe. Share them in remembrance of me--that is, to remind me to you-and I will be in the midst of you, as truly today in spirit as I was yesterday in the flesh. Just as I shared the life of man in the flesh, so I invite you to share the life of God in the spirit of God. In this way will I have the infinite joy of confirming your divine identity and the eternal goal of your destiny in time, when I will introduce you to Him by these unusual yet familiar words:

"Father, behold the Man behold the Supreme Being."
