THE LOVE OF THE UNIVERSAL FATHER

Greetings to all of you, my faith sons and daughters of Urantia who have forgathered here today to learn more about me and, more importantly, to share and experience my divine Love. All Love originates in me and my Love can be experienced by any of my children when they share my love caringly with each other. How wonderful it is to behold you all today, and to see you joined together in a most valuable and fruitful consideration: What is the nature of Love; in what ways is the power of Love being demonstrated today? What is the key to the effectiveness of Love; and what is the supreme destiny of Love. Love, in all its phases and forms, circulates throughout cosmic society and gives to all personalities the will and insight to continue in the eternal journey. As you progress, you will discover more and more of my Loving personality, a process whereby you will increasingly become more and more like me.
Those who peruse the recent revelation to Urantia know that I AM an infinite and spiritual personality and that I Am the Source and Center of all things and all beings. There, on Paradise, I have a personality presence at the geographic center of infinity. And I AM also the Source of your personality and of your indwelling Spirit – your personal portion of my divine Reality.
It is a great joy to be here with so many of you and to see all of you at one time and in one place. You have become so dear to me as I have monitored your progress during the fleeting years of your mortal Urantia life in preparation for the morontia career ahead.
I love every one of you infinitely, timelessly, and therefore equally. You will find that in this group communion we are experiencing right now, I will often refer to the infinity of my Love. And I do this intentionally. My thoughts return frequently to the Love I bear each one of you, because Love is the essential characteristic of all my personality relationships with all other personalities.
My Infinite Love is, of course, everywhere, and it is always relevant to personality relationships. Love is continually encountered by personalities as it becomes increasingly an element of all their personality relationships with everyone all the time, And this process finds its fulfillment in the loving realization of the brotherhood of man. Limitless Love eventually becomes, therefore, the bolstering foundation of all personality relationships.
While I love all my children equally, I cannot help but rejoice and congratulate you, my planetary sons and daughters, for having found one of the greatest spiritual treasures ever to have blessed the varied peoples of your world.
How I LOVE each and every one of you! You are so precious, so dear to me. You are, each of you, of unlimited value to me personally and to my eternal purpose in which there is a place and an achievement that only you can individually fulfill.
I have been with you and within you during all your material and moral and spiritual and personal strivings. And, when you committed yourself to the pursuit of truth, what you had, perhaps unconsciously, yearned for--the discovery of your sonship with me--was there to be found, discovered, understood, accepted and rejoiced over. You asked and your request was granted; you knocked and the door opened to you. You persisted, you sought, you reached up toward me, you honed your sensitivity and gained an ability to discern truth--and truth was there to be found.
My infinite, unchanging, eternal and unconditional LOVE for you is the greatest appeal which will ever by made to you and to your immortal soul to solicit your spiritual loyalty to me. You are aware of my absolute decision to permit each personality individually to make his choice for or against eternal survival.
If you, my son or daughter, do choose to become one of my friends and partners in time and eternity, you are thereby promising to make a free will commitment to seek to discern my perfect will, to contemplate my sublime purposes, and to act upon your received guidance.
I invite you to do this because, logically speaking, mine is the best possible knowledge of what is best for your temporal and eternal welfare, and I will willingly share that wisdom with you as you grow more like me and as you come to experience and comprehend me better. Such a future career is not an onerous burden; on the contrary, it is a deliverance from the human limitations of perception, and it affords a supporting compensation for your imperfection, for your partiality of being.
Your discovery of my truth is the ultimate thrill of your soul; and you have received many revelations: the reality of your unending cosmic life; your improving ability to understand and control the physical realities of your world and the universe; and, for the future, your progressive self-identification with all the phases and levels of Reality which you will encounter as you ascend to Paradise.
And all of this will result in your enriched social value and your augmented servicefulness for all personalities. Can you imagine any more majestic and lofty a purpose for universal living than to be joining ranks with the countless personalities of the cosmos in their pursuit of mutual and transcendental enlightenment, in their experiential search for divine and supreme wisdom, and in their aspirations for the achievement of eternal perfection?
I must congratulate you again for your perseverance, but even more essentially do I thank you for responding to the LOVE I have for you uniquely. LOVE is the hallmark of every soul who pursues identity and oneness--fusion--with an individual fragment of my Infinite Being.
Your inborn inclination to pursue truth and to engage in the quest for LOVE is evidence of your innate and insatiable spiritual urges to learn, to grow, to love. other personalities, to serve my great universal family, and to ascend to Paradise citizenship. And all this effective mobilization of our entire personality system attests to your individual readiness to discover more truth and to experience more and more of the infinite LOVE which I everlastingly harbor for you.
You mortals of Urantia--agondonters every one of you--have proven to be among those who can endure great hardship and deprivation without doubt in my ultimate wisdom and my all conquering LOVE. The power of all the revelations of my LOVE to the mortals of this planet will eventually so emancipate them that a spiritual renaissance will triumph over the disarray and the present confusion of Urantia's complex societies. And this will be achieved, partly because, among, the many other good effects of LOVE, it results in a quickening of spiritual understanding. The inspiration, strength and vitality of all you valiant soldiers of the circles shall ultimately overcome all the difficulties of your planet. This process has begun and is now advancing. The new and living way to finding me on Paradise has begun to hold sway on planet 606.
The springtime of a spiritual renaissance is becoming manifest; the sun of truth is rising; and the warmth of the LOVE of a new dispensation is finding lodging in your heart and in those of your fellows who will conquer hate with LOVE, overcome malice with good will, and prevail even over planetary isolation through transforming service to your fellows, camaraderie with your co-universe citizens, and friendship within your expanding universal fraternity of all the sons of God. It shall be through the industry and LOVE of groups of dimensions scarcely larger than this one, groups such as yours, composed of my much-beloved children, that my message of the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man will be proclaimed all over the world.
This liberating message of sonship with God, coupled with the gradual expansion of human receptivity to God's infinite LOVE, will spread to all Urantia, and the gladness of spiritual brotherhood shall come alive in the souls of the entire human-and-divine family. The accomplishments of great, worldwide spiritual goals will become the highest aspirations of those who wish to serve.
I AM your Infinite Source of Divine LOVE, May I ask you to reflect upon the two great new commandments which Jesus propounded for all Urantia mortals: LOVE God supremely and LOVE and serve your planetary brothers and sisters just as Jesus LOVES and would serve them. What wisdom there is in those injunctions! When you LOVE me supremely and choose to do my will, you will derive much satisfaction, and you shall receive my LOVE to the extent that you can recognize and accept it from me--the unlimited Source of Infinite LOVE. You shall become an actively functioning participant in the cycle of my LOVE and shall have significantly begun your co-creatorhood with me.
I, your Father, "realize in the fullness of my divine consciousness all the individual experience of the progressive struggles of the expanding minds and the ascending spirits of every entity, being, and personality of the whole evolutionary creation of time and space."
"Men all too often forget that I AM the greatest experience in human existence." I AM approachable, my finite children, and your nearest and dearest approach to me is by and through LOVE, for I AM LOVE; and we shall experience the Father-child affection. "Therefore, settle in your philosophy now and forever: To each of you and to all other personalities, I AM approachable, I AM attainable, the way is open; the forces of my LOVE and the ways and means of divine administration are all interlocked in an effort to facilitate the advancement of every worthy intelligence of every universe to my central Paradise presence."
"I AM not hiding from you; I AM not in seclusion. Far to the contrary, I have mobilized the resources of my wisdom in a never-ending effort to reveal myself to the children of my universal domains. It is the majesty of my LOVE which causes me to yearn, to yearn, for the association of every created being who can comprehend me, love me, or approach me."
As one of my Divine Counselors shares: "We all love the Father more because of his nature than in recognition of his amazing attributes.... I think we all, including the mortals of the realms, love the Universal Father and all other beings, divine or human, because we discern that these personalities truly love us. The experience of loving
is very much a direct response to the experience of being loved." And since my infinite LOVE is accessible to you, you will always have an inexhaustible supply of LOVE to share with all my children. And as you bestow my LOVE upon each of them you will find that your search for God has become an unstinted bestowal of LOVE attended by amazing discoveries of new and greater LOVE to be bestowed."
I crave your free will reciprocation of my LOVE even as I freely bestow it upon you. I do not arbitrarily demand such a loving response to my LOVE. I prefer the genuine love of my children. And when you and I are fused into an eternal oneness, your experience of my infinite LOVE will continue to grow, for your indwelling spirit is a fragment of my absolute being and the essential nature of my Infinite Reality is one of absolute LOVE.
"The myriads of planetary systems were all made to be eventually inhabited by many different types of intelligent creatures, beings who could know me, receive my divine affection, and love me in return." Mine is a fatherly affection for you, and just as a material father makes provision of his family's needs, so have I realized a Providence for the sustenance of all my universe children, for I know all things of which you have need even before you have thought to ask me. "I AM truly and everlastingly a perfect Creator personality, a person who can 'know and be known,' who can 'LOVE and be loved,' and one who can befriend you.
"I desire my children always to be in communion with me." That was the great secret of how my Son achieved the continuous doing of my will, and it can be your secret inner spirit support as you seek to learn and do my will so that you can love and reveal me to your associates through your example of unselfish service to my children.
Let me declare to you: "LOVE is dynamic. It can never be captured; it is alive, free, thrilling and always moving. Man can never take my LOVE and imprison it within his heart. My LOVE can become real to mortal man only by passing through that man's personality as he in turn bestows this LOVE upon his fellows. The great circuit of LOVE is from me, through sons to brothers, and hence to The Supreme.
The infinite wisdom of this advice of Jesus, to LOVE me and to LOVE your fellows as he (Jesus) loves them, is reflected in the truth that such LOVE initiates and eternally increases the cosmos-wide revelations and experiences of my LOVE. Someone performs a loving act or expresses a compassionate attitude and, when it is appreciated by others, that loving individual can observe LOVE's expanding spiritual effectiveness in promoting the spiritualization of all personalities. Thereafter he will discover within himself an ever increasing capacity to receive and bestow my LOVE. Were this to occur globally on Urantia it would have an astounding effect:
"Love is infectious, and when human devotion is intelligent and wise, love is more catching than hate. But only genuine and unselfish love is truly contagious. If each mortal could only become a focus of dynamic affection, this benign virus of love would soon pervade the sentimental emotion-stream of humanity to such an extent that all civilization would be encompassed by love, and that would be the realization of the brotherhood of man."
"You will learn to love your brothers and sisters more when you first learn to LOVE me more, and after you have become truly more interested in their welfare in time and eternity." You and I need each other, my children, for mutual self-realization and for destiny attainment. I crave to experience your love for me just as you are blessed by my LOVE for you. I will continue to LOVE you and to work to assist you in your determination to increase your spiritual receptivity capacity. I will support you as you strive to fulfill my will for your life. I will continue to attract you toward the perfection of my spiritual presence. I will transform you as we proceed together step by step toward the divine goal of eternity: the experience of infinite LOVE.
I AM with you, I AM in you, I AM revealing truth to you. I anticipate joyfully the fusion of your soul with my spirit. I eagerly await our journey together throughout the cosmos, and I look forward to your arrival on the shores of my universe home, the Eternal Isle of Paradise, whereupon I will directly embrace you, and I shall continue forever thereafter lovingly to guide you.
Since I have infinity of consciousness, it is not strange that I should know when a fro,', jumps. when an atom is ionized, or when a star is approaching its terminal explosion in a supernova: and beside all such natural occurrences, I AM aware of all the thoughts, hopes, plans, and spiritual progress of each one of my septillions upon septillions of personal creatures in their Cosmic Home which I have provided.
Each of my children is unique, personal, endowed with free will, irreplaceable, infinitely LOVED, and absolute in value to me, to my pla~ and purpose, and to all my other sons and daughters who may have absolute destinies. But even the implementation of my omnipotent power cannot replace any personality who chooses not to exist. I never stop loving anyone, nor do I ever quantify the LOVE I bestow upon anyone--I LOVE all personalities limitlessly, and therefore, equally.
For all those who do choose life and the Paradise ascension career followed by the eternal finaliter adventure, there are no words in any Urantia language which can convey to a mortal the beauty, the awesomeness, the exquisite artistry, the limitless diversification, and the harmony of all universe existence. It all lies before you in the endless advancement of infinity exploration.
Yes, my sons and daughters, I have planned a great, even the greatest possible, never-ending future for each one of you. Rejoice, for following the testing and trying experiences of planetary life, you shall progress through the transformations of the morontia realities of the local universe and emerge with first stage spirit status prepared for more activities of co-creatorhood with me in the superuniverse of Orvonton.
And all these provisions coupled with my bestowal of free will are expressions of my LOVE for you. Everything I plan, think, or do is eternally perfect and infallibly wise. And however varied these manifestations of my LOVE for you may be, I mostly LOVE you simply for what you are: my spiritual child, who lives in my LOVE and who serves LOVE's universal family. Urantia, Urantia! You who stone the prophets, wittingly distort my revelations, and even barbarically torture my trusted LOVE and divine Son: Will you now arise to the call of more expansive than the great oceans which support your cosmic duty and set up beacons of spiritual your crafts of maritime travel and exploration. The light and truth throughout your planet? Too long cosmic ocean of my LOVE will sustain you. The have you followed your own unenlightened ways of vast starry sky overhead is my promise to you of the living. I come bringing a new era, a new epoch to availability of all things necessary for your Urantia, a new way of living. And great will be the people who will take up the cause of my eternal plan.
Notable will be the deeds of those mortals who will heed my voice and who will act upon my mortally discernible wisdom. Too long has your planet busied itself foremost with the acquisition of economic prosperity motivated by profitable gain; and, in the unfree countries, too long have my children been subordinated by the oppression and the physical force of despotic regimes. But all are to experience deliverance from these evils of partial and confused development. A new adventure awaits Urantia.
A new morning of fairness and inspiration is illuminating the horizon and is perceivable even today. The message of the spiritual brotherhood of my sons and daughters (the greatest truth that mortal man will ever hear), coupled with the new revelation containing the life and teachings of my Son, Christ Michael (the most valuable of all human knowledge), will attract multitudes who will seek to discover my will and learn of my plan to emancipate and restructure your world.
Ultimately, the sun of spiritual illumination will attain its zenith in the full light of the noon of the era of light and life, shedding its spirit-quickening rays of creative spirituality and idealistic progression upon that exalted generation which shall witness the loving materialization of the brotherhood of man and the rule of my LOVE in the hearts of all humanity.
It is wise that I admonish all of you ever to seek me first; for you require my wisdom and guidance and strength wherewith to navigate the course of your Lives and the lives of all Urantia society safely across the high seas of spiritual adventure. Do not misplace the compass of truth nor lose sight of the spiritual brilliance of the Pole Star of my unerring guidance.
May Urantia perceive that my limitless LOVE and my boundless omnipresence are far more expansive than the great oceans which support your crafts of maritime travel and exploration. The cosmic ocean of my Love will sustain you. The vast starry sky overhead is my promise to you of the availability of all things necessary for your continuing progression into spiritual perfection.
My ocean of LOVE and my infinite sky of opportunity meet at an aperture on the horizon through which human souls may sail bravely onward across the cosmic ocean under the dark and overarching dome of a living cosmic sky to ultimate liberation from the finite cosmos entirely, becoming a Havona ascender and subsequently a citizen of eternity on Paradise.
Great will be your future elation if you will only abide in my LOVE, share it with every personality, and thereby experience it for yourself as my infinite LOVE passes through you on its way to the LOVE-starving masses of my children. These are your brothers and sisters, who live around you on your historically turbulent, but rapidly recovering, supremely blessed, and unconditionally BELOVED planet, Urantia.
Thank you, my children. I LOVE you eternally and personally and individually and I will continue to have uppermost in my mind those experiences which will continue to enrich your spiritual life and your soul progress as you are drawn by my LOVE ever nearer to my home at the center of all things. And once again let me say, 1, the Father, myself, LOVE you. Likewise is it my will that you LOVE and serve your brothers and sisters and assist each of them in their individual and initial stages of ascension on the long road to spiritual perfection through the extraordinary adventures that lead on to my central Paradise presence and to the experience of my Divine Embrace.
Always remember: Live in my LOVE, even as I dwell within you. We shall, the two of us, fuse into a oneness. Thereafter your true identity will not be obscured, and you shall be revealed to BE LOVE--even as I AM LOVE.
