Two Poems for Christmas 2002
by
David Glass

PEACE,  BE  STILL

Freshly, a brief breeze stirs,
Sufficient to affect the contrast,
In our minds, between stillness and
motion.  Paradise, alone, is truly
Still--all the motions of the cosmos
being produced somehow by that
Central Imperturbable Fixity.

Ours are the adventures of time,
of transcended time, of ignored
Time.  But all these are embraced
within the Ever-New Inventiveness of the
Immovable, the Immutable, the Tireless One.

God need not move, already being Everywhere
(and beyond).  While not contained by
Space and Time, Father-Fragments of the
Motionless-One are dancing in the Creative Cosmic
Celebration, garnering the Wisdoms of Motion--
never-before-manifested within the Original
Stillness of the I AM-Father-Deity of Eternity.

These God-Essences ARE the STILLNESS of the
Unmoving One, ARE very God of very God,
ARE Divinity, ARE the Real-Eternal-Us!
ALREADY IS this so.  And in the cosmic motions
of our adventurous growth toward masterful
Maturation, we shall all become one with
ONENESS itself, which is already our nucleus,
our Timeless Identity.  This Non-Temporal Point
of Stillness, exists for us, its happifying hosts,
as an impregnable citadel of a Non-moving
Center, having no position in Space and
No motion in Time.  And we Recognize:

The stillness within the motion of experience,
the unchanging focus of our unending change,
IS the Great Absolute Unbesiegeable--conferring
assurance, brother-sister-fellowship, and
PEACE Eternal even in Time's Turbulence.

Throughout All that Moves or is Moved,
All that is Manifested or as yet Unactualized,
Realities are to be found--when sought--
which reveal to us the Perfect Personality,
Who so acts as to impart, experientially,
the impact of his genuinely expressed
Infinite, Time-Space-less, Unprovisional
                     LOVE.

I, GOD THE FATHER, LOVE YOU, MY CHILD!

How I do love you, my child!

I love you past the height and depth and breadth that speech can utter.

I love you as an oceanic flood which must trickle out to you in streamlets  so as not to drown you, the beloved subject of my affection.

I love you with the infinite dynamism of a Boundlessly Divine Deity who  seeks with all his omnipotence to achieve his fondest hope, the  comprehended reception of his love by each of his children, including,  of course, you.

I love you with the in-Articulable Attentiveness with which a devoted  parent loves his progressing progeny.

I love you with the ever-fresh and ever-new spontaneity of a youthful  lover for his beloved, nonetheless imbued with the mature finality of  unending power and grace.

And, simultaneously, I love you with the Unencompassable Wisdom of  being the Ancient One of Eternity, the impenetrable all-wise One of all-knowledge and all-understanding.

I love you with the foresight of the Perfect Parent who not only foresees  but lives in the limitless Circle of Eternity, my appointed destiny for you,  my child.

I love you to an Exaltation which surpasses any achievable summit of  understanding and affection, my love being infinite, unfathomable,  boundless, and ever-flowing--always moving.

I love you with the purity and forcefulness of a Divine Impetuousness  which blasts away from your mortal frame the transient imperfections of  temporal inexperience and ignorance as I prepare you for admittance  into the Deathlessness of Eternity and the Endlessness of Illimitable  Love.

I love you with the assurance and unalterability of one whose being and  consciousness stretch far back forever beyond any conceivable idea of  any beginning--and which reach forward forever beyond all finite  notions of achievable destinies.  I love you as the great I AM THAT I  AM.

I love you more than sufficiently to incarnate as a helpless babe, to  cloak myself in human limitations, to suffer degradation, rejection,  desecration, conspiritorial condemnation, and a mortal agony which  renders death a merciful deliverance, just so that, when all human  prejudicial wrath has vented its fury and human ignorance has done its  worst, I might again reaffirmingly express to you my unwavering love  and my unending devotion.

I love you more than enough to have made it possible for you to choose  to turn forever away from me; and although that is possible, it is not  possible for you to do anything which might cause me, your Eternal  Father, to negate or even lessen my love for you, my child.  For I AM all  that is, and I will lovingly help you to find and experience me and my  love, if only you will entrust me with your untimate welfare and final,  victorious deliverance from the limitations of time and space.  I will be  thrilled if you should choose to become my partner in the unending  unfoldment of universal reality and the progressive development of all   personality destinies.

I love you with the solemnity of everlasting trust, unfailing fairness, and  incontrovertible truth.

I love you with the unchanging sincerity and unsweving honesty of my  impeccable integrity.

I love you with the unaltering finality of the totality of my infinity, RIGHT  NOW, in the eternal moment, transcending all imperfection, all  incompleteness of comprehension, and all apparent disorderly flux.

I love you as my unique and irreplaceable child of limitless value, a  value which I will never abrogate and which I will honor forevermore  throughout your unfolding eternal adventure which I even now fully perceive, for I AM its Source, Cause, and Upholder.

I love you, believe it or not, my child, as I love myself, for that Golden Rule unites me with you and with all your planetary peers and cosmic cousins.

I love you through my Fatherhood which finds its ultimate satisfaction   when my bestowed love passes on through you, my son or daughter, to  your brothers and sisters, ultimately establishing the global brotherhood of personalities on your planet and then throughout the Foreverness  Families of Supremacy, Ultimacy, Absoluteness, and Infinity--Reality  Totality.

Oh, how I, God the Father, love you, my child!
