    Inventory

    Customer Category Pricing

    This section allows you to enter product specific discounts for a customer category. Enter the discount amount in the input boxes provided. Entries left blank will default to the standard price or the default category price for the product. To set a new price enter the discount amount (for taxable price, enter the taxable discount immediately following the unit discount, separating the two with a colon. e.g. 12.00:10.00) then click the 'Submit Changes' button

    Quantity Discounts

    These settings allow you to pass along 'quantity price breaks' for this product. Establish the breaks by completing minimum and maximum fields with the minimum and maximum quantities. In the Unit Price Change field, enter the amount of the discount. (eg. -1.50, -2.00)

    Product Softgoods
     

    These are the settings required if you are to allow a customer to download a product, generate a key, or run an external program upon purchase. Fill out the settings and submit your changes if the product requires them. If the product does not require these settings, leave them blank.

    Product Options

    This section defines the available options (eg. Color) for this product. Each option has definable selections (eg. Red, White, and Blue). When customers add this product to their shopping basket, they will choose one selection for each option. To remove a particular option, press the Remove button for that option. To add an option, enter its description and press Add. To view and modify option selections for a specific option, press the Details button next to that option.

    Invalid Option Combination Rules

    Use this feature to Lock-Out certain option combinations. Which means, you can have Commerce stop customers from buying items with specific option combinations. Please select the invalid option combination below. Once you have made a selection please click on the Add Invalid Combination Rule button. You can also remove an existing Option Lock-Out by clicking the Remove button next to the invalid combination.

    Default Option Combination
    Use this feature to select the default option combination for this product. This means that Commerce will load the combination displayed below when the preadd page is created for this item. You can only use this feature if you have an Option Lock defined in the area above. Simply select the desired default combination and then click on Submit Default Option.

    User Defined Data

    These fields can be customized by the Administrator to add extra information about each product. Each user defined field should represent the same thing for all products. For example field one can be used for upsales. You can enter links for other products to buy, and then place the tag for User defined one on the Item page. The tag will place the contents of User defined one on the Item page. This is only one example of how User Defined fields can be used.
