Free Day Trips A. Cradle of Liberty $39 per person. Begin your day in the future at the Franklin Institute, which features four floors of interactive scientific exhibits, see an IMAX movie, explore galaxies in the planetarium, and visit historic Philadelphia with a guide. B. Longwood Gardens/Brandywine Museum $59 per person ($51 for persons under 15 years of age). America's premier horticultural display with a Conservatory and 40 blooming gardens, festival of outdoor fountains, concerts, lunch included. Brandywine Museum is a Century-old grist mill converted to a modern art museum exhibiting works by three generations of Wyeths and other famous artists. C. Hershey Park $40 per person ($36 for persons age 3 through 8). The great American chocolate town tucked in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania. Chocolate World welcomes you to the wonderful world of Hershey. Follow the cocoa bean on its way to becoming a Hershey bar. The amusement park offers the latest and greatest entertainment for families with eight roller coasters, water rides, and much more. In order to keep the cost low for this all day amusement partk, the bus is an air-conditioned school bus. D. Amish Experience Tour $66 per person ($55 for persons age 12 and under). Tour the Amish country Homestead through farmlands and back roads to see the beauty of the Amish countryside, stopping at Amish shops and cottage industries. A 40 minute, five screen, special effects, 3-D imagery movie theatre, unfolding the life of the Fisher Family from Europe to America and their struggle to choose between Amish values and the "English" way of life. This includes a family-style meal at their Plain and Fancy Restaurant. E. On Your Own -- From the train station on campus to Center City where you can connect with trolley busses that run loops around all the special places of interest in the city. Pre-Conference Retreats and other programs (Check all that apply ) Spiritual Retreat: "Experiencing Spirit in Everyday Life," Friday, July 29 at 5:00 PM through Saturday, July 30 at 4:00 PM. The retreat will include centering prayer, readings from The Urantia Book, music, silent reflection time, group sharing, and will end with a worship. For further information, contact Dolores Nice at dlnice@worldnet.att.net. Music Retreat: The Music Retreat is being provided to rehearse and play, Friday, July 29 through Saturday, July 30. We will share perspectives on the creative process. We are going to look at how we may creatively find new ways of musical expression from the paradigm of the soul-consciousness experience.
