Creator Father Michael, Divine Creative Mother
As you have brought us here today, In the Spirit of Truth,
We bring our Souls before you this week and ask that the circuits of our minds be harmonized with yours, to be more open and receptive to the leadings of the
Father fragment, our Mystery Monitor.
We thank you for giving us this moment of ministry to find the openings within our minds where action is necessary in order for the Adjuster to make new impressions and to guide our thoughts into a more Father-like manner. Simply soften us. Sweetly open us to your Love, to your steady hold, gently tending the soil of our minds, rendering them more beautiful and more receptive to the Father's Light, His Love, His Wisdom and
His Beauty.
Good friends, let us now take some time, brothers and sisters,
to rest in the Father.
Still our thoughts.
Let His Love enfold us.
Breathe Him in, Breathe Him out.
He is our Life.
Bring Him with you every moment.
Divine Culture on Urantia (power point)
Cultures on our planet are diverse and incorporate years of traditions and values that have influenced many generations. The uniqueness and diversity of cultures are important in being an outlet for creativity and for the security they provide people for feeling accepted. In recent years we have entered into a technological culture and a space-age culture which is creating shock waves to our status quo. What the world needs is a culture to embrace all cultures. (power point) A culture to allow for the diversity of all, but be united in a common cause. A Divine Culture of acceptance, tolerance and love of our fellow humans. The movement toward Light and Life or Divine Culture on this planet begins within each one of us. As Urantia Book readers living in the light of this revelation, we have a unity of our brotherhood although we have diverse beliefs.
We can begin a Divine Culture by planting seeds.
Divine Culture is planting Seeds of Eternal Value.(power point)
It is the beginning of our future on this planet.
An Archangel tells us our:
"Spiritual idealism is the energy which really uplifts and advances human culture from one level of attainment to another"p.910 (power point)
We certainly all desire a world of peace and the brotherhood of humans. We have an idealism of the Spirit that we live out in our daily lives. This is the ideal of living and through this desire we pray, we pray for the enlightenment of all, for love to saturate each soul. The Midwayer Commission tells us that Jesus
"engaged in the destruction of that which was only when he simultaneously offered his fellows the superior thing which ought to be" p. 1621 (power point)
And also that
"Prayer is a part of the Divine plan for making over that which is, into that which aught to be" p.1621 (power point)
The world can be peaceful and loving and it begins within each one of us. Prayer never fails to expand the soul's capacity for spiritual receptivity, which enables us to grow as a spiritual being, to become attuned to our Thought Adjuster's leading. It is this growth in our Spirit that transforms this planet toward Light and Life, Divine Culture. As Spirit led individuals we will take on opportunities for uplifting the planet. As a Melchizedek states:
"The attainment of a high cultural civilization demands, first, the ideal
type of citizen and, then, ideal and adequate social mechanisms
wherewith such a citizenry may control the economic and political
institutions of such an advanced human society"p.1088 (power point)
The first thing we need to do is to be an ideal type of citizen
So, how to be an ideal type of citizen? (power point)
Jesus tells us that as we live in the Spirit we show forth the
Fruits of the Spirit(power point) (ref p.1597, 1945, 1095) which are:
courageous loyalty, confiding trust, forgiving tolerance, loving service, enlightened honesty, unselfish devotion, undying hope, merciful ministry, unfailing goodness, sincere fairness and enduring peace,
He also tells us that this is unconscious and natural, and that we are to be ourselves, our own unique expressions of the Supreme and not to try to be anything other than who we really are.(ref.p.1425-26,p.1582,p.1917).
To look within ourselves for the truth, knowledge and wisdom that we need, gives us a freedom the world has never known before, within the present organized religious and societal structures. We know that living with the Father's will as our goal we will be led to opportunities and situations that will fulfill His purpose. We have the courage to followthe Spirit of Truth wherever it leads. We love other humans with a Divine Love that transcends all differences.
In the UB a Melchizedek says that modern religion finds the rapidly changing social conditions difficult to adjust to because it is traditionalized, dogmatized, and institutionalized. But, the religion of living experience does not find it hard to keep ahead of social and economic upheavals. It functions as a moral stabilizer, social guide and spiritual pilot (power point)
"true religion carries over from one age to another the worth-while culture
and that wisdom which is born of the experience of knowing God and
striving to be like him"p.1088 (power point)
True religion being the religion of living experience. Living experience or the evolving Supreme Being is happening every moment when we are aware of this reality.
Divine Culture as an evolving system will decrease the threatening impact of religious ideologies
"The kingdom of heaven is neither a social nor economic order, it is an
exclusively spiritual brotherhood of God-knowing individuals. True such a
brotherhood is in itself a new and amazing phenomenon attended by
astounding political and economic repercussions"p.1088 (power point)
This Spiritual Brotherhood (Siblinghood) exists now within all of us who are aware
of it. (power point)
So how do we go about transforming this world? How will this brotherhood create "astounding political and economic repercussions"?
.Day to day transforming of our culture to a Divine Culture is the "second mile of free service and liberty loving devotion" p.2084 to living the religion of Jesus.
"Indirectly, cultural civilization is influenced by the attitude of these individual
religionists as they become active and influential members of various social, moral,
economic, and political groups"p.1088 (power point)
Our attitude as we become influential and active within the functioning of the world is what will indirectly influence our culture.
In living our lives in this reality with the recognition of who we are we can look at practical ways to plant the seeds of Divine Culture.
Cultivating a happy mind is a beginning (the mind can't be happy when serving both good and evil).
"The supremely happy and efficiently unified mind is the one wholly dedicated to the doing of the will of the Father in heaven. "p.1480 (power point)
It's giving up control, it's letting go, it's letting God guide us.
We are not left alone in this struggle toward uplifting our culture to a Divine Culture; we have many celestial friends, among them the Planetary Helpers.
You may remember "the planetary helpers are seraphim that primarily are assigned to Planetary Adams, most of which were removed from Urantia upon the collapse of the Adamic regime. However some remain on Urantia, of those, Vevona, chief of the seraphic souls of peace, is instrumental in supplanting the atonement idea by the concept of Divine Attunement as a philosophy of mortal survival "p. 437D (power point)
Divine Attunement or Adjuster Attunement (power point) attained through Divine Rest is primary for us to focus on as:
"Worship is the act of tuning in the soul to catch the Universe broadcasts of the Infinite Spirit of the Universal Father" (p. 1621) (power point)
We need to continually awaken in Daily Meditation in a personal relationship with God.

Other practical ways to demonstrate Divine Culture:
- Creating a culture of kindness in schools and community centers as in the movie "pay it forward" There is an example of this in the city newspaper, as well as other examples for you to look at. (handouts)
- The Golden Rule, which is present in most religious beliefs, is a seed
to start planting.( handout)
- Volunteer Service to the community (InnerLife International)
- Universal Open Houses of Worship (Universal Spiritual Centers) (24hrs a day)
- Attending annual Spiritual Retreats
- More time for leisure and worship. 4 day work weeks
(culture is never developed under conditions of poverty, leisure is essential
for the progress of cultural civilization p.907)
- Using uplifting sayings (subtle seeds) everyday in the workplace i.e.: at lunch, newsletters, emails, wherever you can plant seeds.
- Celebrating the world religions at Christmastime rather than the traditional celebration. (In Chicago the forum began this custom )
- Educating youth in self-mastery rather than self-gratification to develop a
"majestic and well-balanced personality" p. 2086 example: Creed Project (John Creger "The Personal Creed Project and a New Vision of Learning')
15 minute exercise:
The purpose of this exercise in Divine Culture is to help us recognize Divine culture in everything and everyone. The examples that were given and the focus now on creating new ideas, opens up a multitude of opportunities for recognition. Acceptance of situations in our lives without judging them and directing our search to find the essence of Divine Culture which are the Fruits of the spirit, for they are the essence , the Infinite Spirit's fragrance in the kingdom of God.
I have a Handout for the exercise, after 15 minutes we will focus our results into a Path to use as a tool for our goals.
Brainstorming ideas for living Divine Culture in our daily lives
small groups of 3 or more with about 5 minutes of time for each area. 1. Choose a dream 2. State a goal 3. Express where you are right now 4. Supports to help in the goal 5. 3 months from now 6. 1 month from now 7. First step
Through the Human Mind in the Family of God we plant Divine Seeds of Love into the fertile Universal Mind of the Cosmic community producing Fruits of the Spirit uplifting human cultural consciousness growing Spiritually!

Conclusion:
We are told
P. 2082 "the spiritual renaissance must await the coming of these new teachers of Jesus' religion who will be exclusively devoted to the spiritual regeneration of men" (power point)
And
P.2093 "the ultimate goal of society's most advanced achievement can never hope to transcend Jesus' brotherhood of men based on the recognition of the Fatherhood of God. The ideal of all social attainment can be realized only in the coming of this divine kingdom" (power point)

I would like to finish with this message, all that we did and shared and discovered is nothing without action.. It is the doing that will uplift our planet. It is the creative path that Jesus opened up for us.
We need to be Present to the fact of GOD, Be Aware, that we are Now living
