Our Vision

SpiritQuest is an Educational Ministry, filled with Grace, motivated by Love, predicated on Truth, sensitive to Beauty and dominated by Goodness… Our vision is create an institution of learning that will prepare spiritual teachers and leaders, who will go forth into this world and further the Universal goals of bringing the cosmic citizens of this world the fullest understanding of God and the principles of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness. Our purpose is the co-ordination of these Truth principles within the minds and hearts of these teachers and leaders with the larger realities of their expanding consciousness and experience, and thereby develop and sharpen these innate endowments of the human mind. We are to provide the teachings, trainings, tools and educational training ground whereby these teachers and leaders can realize these principles in their life experience, express them in their daily lives, ennoble them in their spiritual expression, and thereby allow personality to unify them in a practical, progressive, meaningful, and experiential manner that embraces training in all things material, intellectual, morontial, and spiritual.
We hold that all Truth is coherent, beauty attractive, goodness stabilizing. And when these values are co-ordinated in personality experience, the result is a high order of love and joy conditioned by wisdom and qualified by loyalty.

To work with the Spirit of Truth and the forces for Good in the creation and dissemination of a number of courses and transformative programs of Truth principles, in which the participants will (1) Come into an awareness of their own spiritual nature and their oneness with God,
(2) Experience the magnificent presence of God within their own consciousness and,
(3) Facilitate their own process of spiritual metamorphosis from material existence to spiritual living.
Objectives:
.To assist others in experiencing the love and sublime presence of God within their own being.
.To assist others in coming to an awareness of their own innate spiritual nature.
.To assist others in the realization that the spiritual life is the effective solvent for all human difficulties, providing the joy, peace and harmony that will enhance and ennoble the life which they now live.
.To assist others in the realization that the positive leading of the Spirit within unfailingly enables the God-knowing individual to bridge the gulf existing between illumination and darkness, health and healing, prosperity and lack.
.To assist others in developing the highest type of spiritual personality and proclaiming the sacredness of that person.
.To assist others in becoming aware that all growth is proportional to God-consciousness and that success in the quest for happiness in this life, lies in the Spirit Quest for knowledge of the will of God.
.To assist others in becoming aware that the final quest in life is a never-ending voyage of discovery into the infinite exploration of God and His Universe.
.To assist others in developing a philosophy of life based on the union of scientific attitudes and spiritual insights as mediated by practical experiential living.

Today, many people face great changes in their lives. These changes, whether initiated by others or by the inner urge to grow and develop, are a tremendous source of anxiety and concern. The search for new and meaningful experience to offset the effects of these changes is one of humankind's greatest continual quests. The search for creative and practical techniques for dealing with these inevitable transitions have lead to the greatest quest for Truth and understanding this world has every seen. SpiritQuest has been designed to assist in this Quest.
SpiritQuest is about Transformation.
SpiritQuest is about understanding - understanding the Truth of human existence. It addresses the key elements of spiritual growth and development in such a way that participants learn in a very short period of time what often takes many years to learn.
SpiritQuest is about experience - experience of the presence of God. SpiritQuest is an in-depth exploration of the essential elements necessary for spiritual development, as emphasised in the Urantia spiritual teachings. Skilled resource leaders will facilitate a number of educational sessions that will emphasis the "learn by experience" model, thus creating a positive learning experience that builds upon the abilities and strengths the participants already have.
SpiritQuest is about Reality. It is not enough that the ascending pilgrims of time and space should know that somewhere "out there", God exists. God must become a living reality within their own relationship. The cosmic stage, on which the eternal drama of personality performance and spiritual metamorphosis is enacted, is within our own personal spiritual experience. Our terrestrial orientation, cosmic insight, and spiritual direction are all enhanced by a better comprehension of universe realities and their techniques of inter-association, integration, and unification. Logistics:

SpiritQuest is a learning system. It is a series of spiritual training courses, using the latest in dynamic seminar technology and supported by an Internet based Distance Learning System. These are designed to translate the objectives outlined above into positive experience, by providing an effective educational framework that will deepen the spiritual experience of the participants and move them to dynamic action in their lives.
The three SpiritQuest programs will be presented live and have the following themes:
1. SpiritQuest I - Truth
2. SpiritQuest II - Beauty
3. SpiritQuest III - Goodness
In addition to supplying information about these three programs, the Distance Learning System will support these training sessions by provide a number of studies and courses in both streaming video and interactive classrooms, both synchronous (occurring at the same time,) and Asynchronous (at your own speed and time,) thus creating a World-Wide Asynchronous Correspondence /Certification Program in both Educational Leadership and Spiritual Education. This will provide a means for distance learning of the spiritual milieu of our planet, professional upgrading and training, credentialing, and providing learning opportunities for individuals with challenging situations such as the inability to travel. In many communities the notion of life-long learning has a bridgehead and distance learning is the answer to expanding this bridgehead.
Using the theme of “Living the Revelation” and “UB the Revelation”, SpiritQuest will present these teachings in a number of "Educational Modules". These modules can be arranged in any pattern that will fit the program needs of the sponsoring group. The system can be adapted to fit a four hour session, a two day program, a three day program, or a two night-two day program, etc. Any combination can be accommodated.
We will present each of the three SpiritQuest programs in three steps: Introduction, Event, and Follow-up. Recognizing the time limitation many people have to deal with, we have designed SpiritQuest to accommodate these constraints. The introduction part of the program will begin about fourteen to twenty one days before the event. This will be an information campaign designed to interest and inform spiritual seekers of the event.
The event will take place on a weekend as arranged with the sponsoring study group, and will follow the format outlined in the appendixes. The seminar is quite different from classroom-style seminars in that it is designed to fully engage the participant. Concepts are presented in informal lectures which draw upon the audience’s participation for examples, questions, and discussions. This method of presentation allows each member of the group to be clear on the ideas being presented and to see how they may relate to his or her life. These discussions keep the pace lively and stimulating throughout. People are usually surprised at how much fun and laughter they experience in this learning environment.
Based on the idea that true learning comes from experience and in an atmosphere of fun, the lectures are either preceded or followed by powerful individual or group exercises which provide opportunities for personal participation in real life situations. Every aspect of the seminar has a purpose and each session builds upon what has gone before. The program will build toward a spectacular finish.
The Follow-up will be largely the responsibility of the sponsoring study group, but will be supported by us through the training manual, audio and video tapes, a Web based communication program, newsletters, and other elements as they become available. The aim will be to assist the participants in holding to their vision of what is possible with God and to their commitment to their spiritual growth.
We are confident the participants will leave this seminar with a renewed interest in life, their relationships with others, and their relationship with God. If they are not satisfied that the investment of time and money has not been amply repaid, their registration fees will be refunded in full. No questions asked.

The Facilitators:

The facilitators of SpiritQuest are successful, empowering, and interesting individuals who have been selected on the basis of their effectiveness in producing practical results in their own lives. Their formal education varies widely as do their backgrounds, but each is a certified trained Teacher. What they have in common is a deep appreciation of people and a willingness to engage, a commitment to demonstrating spiritual excellence in their own lives, a genuine interest in others doing well in life, and an overwhelming desire to make a significant difference in our world. Our facilitators have dedicated and consecrated their lives to the will and work of Jesus Christ and to furthering the spiritual goals of the Urantia movement.
