In the 7th (1981) and subsequent Urantia Foundation printings, "in charge of" was changed to "in the charge of". This was an unnecessary edit, as "in charge of' (without the article "the" inserted), may be used in this passive sense. Though it is a less common construction than the active formulation, the meaning remains essentially identical to the active formulation: "The morontia supervisors and the Melchizedeks are in charge of the seven mansion worlds."
