Madame President of the Fellowship:

My name is Jacques Dupont, and I have been reading the URANTIA Book since 1962. 1 participated in the translation-revision of Le Livre d'Urantia. As the chief of the translation-revision team and on behalf of the team, I am writing to you regarding the moral right in the revised translation.

The members of our team own the moral right in the revised and corrected Le Livre d'Urantia, notwithstanding that we gave the commercial rights in the revised Le Livre d'Urantia to the Urantia Foundation.

I have seen with great displeasure that--without our consent (for which I request an explanation)-our text is published on your Web site.

I believe that you know that our copyright in the book is protected under the Bern Convention. Your country is member of the Bern Convention Act, and by publishing "Le Livre d'URANTIA," your organization is breaking national and international law. I have read your By-Laws and notice that your organization is committed to obey the laws of your country and other countries.

Therefore, I respectfully ask that your organization immediately remove our text from your Web site and your mirror sites.

I also respectfully request that your organization remove any documents, such as private photographs and correspondence related to me or my family, that are displayed on your Web site without my knowledge and consent.

I notice that your Web site displays photographs of Jacques Weiss, Henry Begemann, and others. I wonder if you asked them for their permission?

I hope that you understand my concern, and that you will honor my request.

Please give my regards to Thomas Kendall and Karolyn, to Martha and David Elders, Bobbie and Steve Dreier, and John Hales and his mother, whom I met all in France or at Brotherhood conferences.
